Serge Aurier insists he is happy at Tottenham despite failed summer exit

Tottenham right-back Serge Aurier insists he is happy at the club, despite being prevented from leaving.
The Ivory Coast stated a week he would have liked to have moved on during the transfer window from Spurs, but instead made his first appearance of the season and provided two assists in the 4-0 win.
Aurier, who last played at the Premier League in February, has had a tricky time in the club after his 2017 move and he wished to leave because of some”personal situation”.
The 26-year-old insists there is no rift with boss Mauricio Pochettino and is now looking into the future.
Asked if he wished to leave, Aurier said:”Yes, but which was the case before the transfer window closed, the transfer window is currently closed, now I am calm and pleased to remain.
“I speak with everybody, I don’t want to leave.
“I had something in my own head, but that I didn’t wish to leave to the gaffer or the chairman (Daniel Levy).
“It had been my personal circumstance and today it’s OK, everyone wants to give me another chance and now I’m pleased to remain and happy to perform along with joyful for the victory.
“We will need to provide the most appropriate for this season and for your decorations.
“Nothing has changed in my entire own life. I live and now I’d like to show and give my best for the fans, for the club, for everyone.”
